Antonio Mercero - Virtual museum

The first work of his formative period, in 1960. Thanks to this work he passed the year at his first attempt, through a rather unusual channel. The short film La oveja negra tells the tale of a young boy. In preindustrial Madrid, the black sheep of a flock fascinates the boy, who tries to catch it. But he won’t be alone in the endeavour: the shepherd is right behind him, demanding that he leave the black sheep alone. The main topics are childhood and humour. In the absence of resources, the screenplay is remarkable.
